The Grow a Fish Pond experience on Roblox is what the name suggests: you have to grow fish in a pond. It is a typical layout-style game where you keep progressing each time you get bigger, better, and rarer fish. The game is similar to the Grow a Garden experience, where the goal is to plant crops and progress further. Similarly, you must grow your fish and earn Yen to progress further.

Getting Started in Grow a Fish Pond
Overview
When you start the game, you will be equipped with a bag of food and two Tropical Fish. The bag of food contains 10 pieces, which can boost the growth speed of the fish by 25%. You can place the food in the pond and then release the fish. The Tropical Fish will take around five seconds to grow. The size of the fish can vary for each player. Once your fish are fully grown, you can collect them and head to the market to sell them.
Once you have earned enough money, you can buy other baby fish from the fish shop. There are different rarities of fish you can buy. For example, a Tropical Fish is a common fish and can be purchased for 10 Yen, whereas a Clownfish is a rare fish and costs 4,900 Yen to purchase. Some fishes like Pufferfish and Pike will take a while to grow but give out great profits. Each time a fish grows by 20% there is a chance that it will grow in size as well.

You can purchase over 13 varieties of fish in this game. Each fish has a different rarity, the higher the rarity, the lower its chances of appearing in the shop.

Mutations
Similar to Grow a Garden, there are mutations available in this game as well. Your fishes can also have mutations applied to them. Currently, there are four types of mutations available in the game. You can purchase a Bag o’ Void or Bag o’ Rainbow to increase mutation chances by three times. These bags contain mutated food items that can be fed to your fish for a chance of mutation.
Other Things to Discover
There are more things you can discover in the game. For starters, there is a wishing well near the shop area. You can interact with the well for a chance to trigger a weather event. Several weather events take place every hour in the game.
You can obtain an Ethereal rarity Nessie fish via the Special Shop for Robux. Additionally, you can visit the Wise Old Man at the Fish Market to access your Fishdex. The Fishdex will show the fish you’ve caught so far and their respective values.
