Lemons are surprisingly hard to get in Grow a Garden, and it involves trading with other players who already have the fruit.
If you are new to Grow a Garden, getting lemons can be very difficult. The only realistic way to get them is through trading, and it is something the game does not tell you. You cannot get them from random drops, quests, or the store. Only players who have lemon crops can share them with others. The system works this way to encourage interactions between players.
If you are confused about how trading works in Grow a Garden, this guide will help you join official trading platforms to get them. Before you begin, make sure that you have a Discord account. You will need to use Discord to find players from the official community for trading.
How To Get Lemons in Grow a Garden Roblox
You cannot grow lemons in Grow a Garden naturally. There was a bug in an older version of the game that allowed players to get Lemons by purchasing tomato seeds. The method does not work anymore, but players who obtained lemons can still trade them to you.
You should note that even if you get lemons from other players, you cannot use the seeds to plant them in your garden. It is simply a novelty item, but if you want some for your account, reach out to a player who has them to trade. The official Discord server is the best place to trade. Most players will trade them to you in exchange for other items.
Once you find someone to trade with, you can invite them to your garden using the friends menu. Once both of you are in the same world, follow the steps below:
- Approach the other player.
- Hold out the item that you want to trade using your inventory menu.
- Click on the Gift option.
- The other player must give you an item in return.
- Accept the trade.

Join the official Grow a Garden Discord server using the link below:
If you do not have a Discord account, simply download Discord, and it will ask you to create a username when you boot the app. Once you join the Grow a Garden’s Discord server, check the official rules and choose your preferred roles.
Once you have access to all text channels, head to the trading or discussion text channels and request lemons. If someone accepts, add the person in-game using the Friends menu and follow the steps in the previous section to trade.
