GTA 5 Update 1.70 Patch Notes arrived on January 21, 2025, with the update coming on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. From the changelog shared, one can see it is a small patch that focuses on introducing game fixes and stability improvements. One of these addresses crash issues with GTA Online’s The Cayo Perico Heist, namely Xbox Series X|S players crashing when doing the ‘Gather Intel’ section of the heist.

Game Stability and Performance

Fixed a set of issues which were resulting in crashes when playing GTA Online
Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when playing ‘Gather Intel’ for The Cayo Perico Heist on Xbox Series X|S consoles
Fixed an issue that resulted in a crash when playing the mission ‘Pack Man’ in GTAV on Xbox Series X|S consoles

In GTA Online, this week there’s a host of discounts, including on Vapid Hustler, Pfister Comet, Vapid Blade, and Gallivanter Baller LE. Meanwhile, the featured Priority File is The Brute Force File, the Merryweather Hoodie is available as a completion bonus from The Black Box File, and double rewards are available from Payphone Hits. Benefactor Stirling GT is the Podium Vehicle. The current GTA Online week cycle started on January 16 and goes until January 23.
