The new GTA Online Money Fronts DLC update adds a new Hands On Car Wash property where you clean vehicles as a job. However, behind the scenes, you are also running a money laundering operation. It’s up to you to balance these two gigs without attracting the attention of law enforcement.
With that said, if you want to keep your illegal side gig lowkey, you need to know how to do your car wash job properly. To help you with that, here is a guide on the car wash job in GTA Online and how you can complete it.
How To Start a Car Wash Job in GTA Online
Before anything else, you need to purchase the Hands On Car Wash property through the Maze Foreclosure website on your in-game phone. Once you own the property, head inside, interact with the laptop, and select Car Wash. Once you start the job mission, you will be assigned a random customer you need to visit.

Head To Customer Location
Your first task is to drive to the location of your customer. The location will be randomized. Sometimes it can be a short drive, but there are occasions where the customer is far away from the car wash.
Drive Your Customer’s Vehicle to Hands On Car Wash
Once you reach your destination, grab the car keys near the entrance of your customer’s house. Afterward, access their car and drive back to the Hands On Car Wash.
Make sure you don’t damage the vehicle to receive full payment. You even get a bonus tip if you deliver it back in top shape.
Wash Customer’s Vehicle in the Car Wash
Once you are back at the car wash, enter the washing sequence through the yellow marker. It won’t work if you go through the other entrance. A cutscene will start showing the car entering the tunnel and getting washed. Once it’s over, drive back to the customer’s location.
Drive Back To Your Customer’s Location
Make sure not to damage the car during the return trip. Once you reach the destination, you will receive your payout and a bonus tip if the car is undamaged.
Additionally, if you are running any money laundering jobs, completing a car wash job will lower the heat level of your property. This helps prevent you from being targeted by the cops for illegal operations.
