Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” expressed his disapproval of allowing minors to undergo gender-reaffirming care.

Twitch and Kick streamer Felix “xQc” is quite vocal when it comes to sharing his opinions on various topics. He is one of the most popular reaction streamers on the platform currently. During his latest stream (February 17, 2025), the streamer was reacting to a video by Jubilee titled 1 Conservative vs 25 LGBTQ+ Activists (feat. Michael Knowles).
As the title suggests, the video featured Knowles facing various individuals who debated him on social issues and opinions. At one point in the video, Knowles debated a person on the topic of children receiving gender-affirming care.
For those unaware, gender-affirming care usually refers to “a range of treatments” that are provided to non-binary or transgender individuals. This treatment helps them align with their gender identity. It’s worth noting that this treatment doesn’t necessarily include surgical procedures. It also includes speech and psychological therapy. According to webmd.com, non-surgical care includes procedures such as laser hair removal and hormone replacement therapy.
xQc, however, had a strong stance against this. While reacting to the video, the Kick streamer said:
“That’s gonna be a no. Out of all things, I am gonna give this a no. I rarely give yes or no, or whatever, because these things are pretty nuanced. But I’m gonna give this an actual hard no.”
“Not in the Capacity To Make Permanent Decisions” – xQc Explains His Reasons
xQc has shared a controversial take on children receiving gender-affirming care. As previously mentioned, this treatment also includes non-surgical procedures. It’s possible that Felix is specifically referring to surgical procedures, as they are considered permanent. He added:
“Also, when you are growing up, you feel certain ways, things change, whatever. I don’t think you should make a permanent decision that will affect the rest of your life when you are not in the capacity to make permanent decisions. I think as a society, we try to remove the rights for minors to make life-altering decisions back onto themselves because they are not developed enough. Therefore I don’t think you should.”
Gender-affirming care can be a deeply sensitive topic for many and is ultimately a personal choice. Within the content creation scene, several creators have shared their experiences with hormonal treatment. One such example is former MrBeast crew member Ava Kris Tyson (formerly Chris Tyson).
There have also been a number of “red pill” content creators, such as Sneako and Andrew Tate, who have spoken out against the trans and LGBTQ+ communities in the past. However, xQc has previously expressed support for many of these issues.
