Popular Twitch streamer and political commentator HasanAbi faces the ban hammer for the fifth time on the platform.
In recent news on Twitch, popular streamer and political commentator Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has been banned on Twitch. This is the fifth time Piker faces the ban hammer on the Amazon-owned platform. While the reason for the ban is unknown, Hasan believes he was banned for his inflammatory statements about Senator Rick Scott. The time period for the ban is also unknown. However, fans speculate Hasan will be unbanned shortly, much like his previous suspensions.

The streamer had 2.81 million followers on Twitch before the suspension. Fans speculate that the streamer is banned for having controversial Kick streamer N3on on stream. Meanwhile, HasanAbi uploaded an extensive video on YouTube diving into the reason for the ban.
Hasan believes he was banned after making sensitive comments about the senator and apologized. In his video, Hasan went over Ethan Klein’s criticism about him for the past few months. Piker also criticized Asmongold’s comment about him. Asmon stated that he would be contacting a top Amazon executive about Hasan’s statements.
For those unaware, Hasan made inflammatory comments on Senator Rick Scott, stating:
“If you cared about medicare fraud or Medicaid fraud, you would k*ll Rick Scott! Okay?”
HasanAbi Responds Following Twitch Ban
HasanAbi made a comment on his X account following the Twitch ban. The streamer stated that he will choose his words carefully next time. Piker also made a YouTube video, where he criticized Ethan Klein and Asmongold following their criticism. While fans believe the streamer will be unbanned shortly, some netizens believe the streamer will be banned for a while given the nature of his comments. Hasan stated in his X post:

Hasan also criticized the right-wing followers and shouted them out for their attention to his ban. Hasan made a follow-up tweet stating:
