Twitch streamer Hasanabi was left in awe after watching Elon Musk make a controversial gesture during Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony.
While watching the inauguration ceremony of the 47th U.S. President, Twitch streamer Hasan “Hasanabi” was visibly shocked by a specific moment. During his speech, Elon Musk made a controversial salute that left Hasan speechless. Musk is set to head the “Department of Government Efficiency” under Donald Trump’s administration. Hasan, a frequent critic of the Tesla CEO, openly condemned Musk’s gesture.

After a brief moment of silence, the streamer asked the chat:
“Did he just Sieg Heil?”
Hasan also tweeted on X, asking if Elon Musk performed the Roman salute at the inauguration ceremony. Several clips went viral on the platform, with many noting Musk’s gesture resembled the controversial N*zi salute. However, many in support of Musk stated that it was not a salute but a simple wave that was misunderstood. The ADL, or Anti-Defamation League, also released a statement regarding the salute, seemingly defending Musk.

Hasanabi also commented on Elon supposedly being on drugs during the ceremony. The streamer humorously said that he was playing Path of Exile 2 on his ‘Neuralink.’ Another Twitch streamer, Quin69, found out that Elon Musk’s PoE 2 account was online while he was at the ceremony. Quin is also set to appear on the Piers Morgan Uncensored show for a discussion about the recent Musk-PoE controversy.

Hasanabi Reacts to the Anti-Defamation League Defending Elon Musk
After multiple clips of Elon Musk’s salute went viral on X, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) issued a statement addressing the gesture. The ADL clarified that Musk’s action was an “awkward gesture” and not a N*zi salute. The statement quickly gained attention on the platform, and Musk thanked the organization for clearing up the misunderstanding. However, Hasan voiced his disappointment with the ADL’s response during his stream.

Hasanabi, in his stream, stated that ADL has been trying to get him banned on Twitch for his criticisms:
“These guys have been trying to get me banned off Twitch because of my criticisms of Israel. Oh my god! Oh my god, I didn’t think they would be so shameless, dude. I mean, I didn’t think that this joke was going to be the truth. I said, ‘It’s okay though. He is pro-Israel, don’t worry guys.’ And then the ADL did the damn thing, they did do that“
