And, as with all RPGs, there are various status effects and ailments to consider when you’re fighting the Demon King’s minions here. Perhaps the most important of these status effects is Purity. The effect can stack and helps to boost your attack, and when you consume it, you can regain some of your lost HP.
So, it’s crucial to master the use of Purity in He Is Coming. In the following guide, we’ll explore what Purity is and how you can acquire more of it.
What Is Purity?
As we said, Purity is one of the most powerful status effects in the game. Every stack of Purity provides the following to players:
- +3 HP when you remove the stack.
- +1 Attack
- No downside while the effect is active.
Purity doesn’t have any decay or penalty when it remains active. Also, as you keep stacking the effect, the increase in your Attack abilities can be considerable. So, it’s not only safe to stockpile the effect but highly beneficial too. You won’t lose Purity after a turn. Instead, it only disappears when another effect consumes it.
You can use Purity in a variety of ways. For instance, if you want to increase your Attack without compromising on your Armor, the Purity status effect is the perfect option for that job. Similarly, when you’re in a dangerous situation, you can purge the active Purity stacks to receive significant healing for free. It’s also a great effect to use for builds with no armor. Since you’ll take more damage, the status effect’s healing capabilities will surely help to sustain you for longer.

How To Get More Purity in He Is Coming
Unfortunately, getting Purity isn’t as simple as you’d want it to be. You can get the gear pieces through the loot pools of the Kingmaker Swampland Bundle and Swampland only. You don’t get them from regular runs. So, you can try and find the following pieces from those two loot pools.
- Twilight Crest
- Purelake Helm
- Silver Scale Gauntlet
- Grail of Purity
- Any item that offers the status effect when you’re stunned, wounded, or losing your speed.
