Furthermore, crashes can happen on higher-end GPUs, albeit at a significantly lower frequency. On an RTX 4060 system, we weren’t able to replicate the crashing errors until we tried to render the game at native 4K. Hence, we can confirm that the VRAM limitation was the reason behind these crashes.

Reduce Texture Quality and Shadows

Although the game doesn’t use ray tracing by default for its lighting, it’s still using UE5’s Lumen and other VRAM-intensive toolsets. Hence, reducing the Texture and Shader settings has a drastic impact on performance.
However, since these options only control the amount of allocated VRAM, they don’t have a drastic effect on the game’s visuals. For lower-end GPUs, we recommend keeping Textures and Shadows at Low.
