Helldivers 2 Heart of Democracy marks a dire situation for players in-game: the Illuminate invasion has arrived on Super Earth. The fight is no longer out there, with the clarion call having been rung: Helldivers are to beeline to Super Earth and repel the Illuminate.

Helldivers 2 Heart of Democracy Sees the Fight Come Home

The SEAF troops are helping out players in this battle as NPCs. They can also be told to provide temporary backup to Helldivers as you take down objectives.
