Helldivers 2 Leviathan: How To Beat?

Helldivers 2 Leviathans arrived with the Heart of Democracy update. The Illuminate invasion has started on Super Earth, with these nefarious creatures flooding the cities and terrorizing the inhabitants. There are a handful of new enemy types that you need to be aware of and Leviathans are one of them.

How To Bring Down Leviathan in Helldivers 2?

The best way to beat and bring down a Leviathan in Helldivers 2 is the Recoilless Rifle (as much as we have found out for now). It takes roughly four Recoilless Rifle rounds. You need to hit the three circles (one each in front, middle, and back) underneath/belly of the Leviathan. Those are the only weak spots that you have to target.

Other options that are being reported as useful are the Spear, AT emplacement, the Wasp, and EXO Suit Rockets. Anti-tank stuff is a must in our experience, and you will need to focus your firepower on its weak spots. An Orbital 380mm HE Barrage may also do the trick. Given it’s been only a few hours since Heart of Democracy dropped, we are likely to see more strategies as Helldivers try out the latest update further.

With the Illuminate crawling on the streets of Super Earth during the invasion, Helldivers are advised to be careful while they are engaging in battle. Innocent citizens are also caught in the crosshairs, and any death resulting from friendly fire will have repercussions. Players are also getting some much needed backup from the SEAF troops, who will be attacking the enemies and engaging in firefights. They can also be tasked to help out Helldivers temporarily as the latter completes objectives.
