The P-92 Warrant in Helldivers 2 combines guided rounds with medium armor penetration to excel against the enemies of Managed Democracy.

The P-92 Warrant is a secondary weapon introduced with the “Force of Law” warbond in Helldivers 2. It serves as a versatile pistol with a unique feature: homing rounds. The P-92 Warrant fires homing rounds after locking onto a target, similar to the W.A.S.P. Lock-on capabilities in a sidearm are unprecedented, making the pistol a smart, fire-and-forget weapon. However, is the P-92 Warrant worth the investment? And more importantly, does it deliver effective punishment to the enemies of Managed Democracy?
How To Get The P-92 Warrant In Helldivers 2

The P-92 is available for purchase via the Superstore for 300 Super Credits during the Force of Law warbond. You do not need to buy the Force of Law premium warbond to unlock the P-92 Warrant. Here is a step-by-step guide to purchasing the weapon.
- Head to the Acquisition Center on the Super Destroyer.
- Open the Superstore.
- Purchase the P-92 Warrant for 300 Super Credits.
If the P-92 Warrant is not available in the Superstore, check for it during the next Force of Law rotation in the store.

The P-92 Warrant is an extremely powerful secondary weapon. It is brutally effective in taking down the small–medium enemies of every faction, making it top-tier and a “meta” secondary. Its only weakness is that the lock-on mechanism doesn’t work well in close range, and you have to quickly switch to manual mode when an enemy closes the gap.
Automatons
The P-92 Warrant is the most effective at taking down Automatons. All small and medium Automatons are easy prey and fall after the pistol discharges a few rounds. In this role, it performs better than several primary weapons like the AR-23 Liberator and StA-52, freeing your primary slot for something with more armor penetration.
Illuminate
One magazine dump from the P-92 Warrant is all it takes to bring down the pesky Overseers. It excels in targeting Elevated (jetpack) Overseers, and has a good chance to hit their weak spot without much effort. Bring a primary weapon capable of dealing with mobs, and the P-92 Warrant will shine against the Illuminate.
Terminids
All small and medium Terminids, apart from Hive Guards, are quickly torn apart by the P-92 Warrant’s gyrojet rounds. With its lock-on mode, the pistol is especially effective against Shriekers, dispatching the flying pests with ease.
Helldivers 2: P-92 Warrant Tips and Tricks

- Manual Mode: Switch from guided mode to manual firing mode by holding the reload button. Quickly switch off guided mode when enemies are at close range, as it won’t work up close.
- Lock-on: In guided mode, the bullets fly to the target’s chest area, toward the lock-on symbol. Keep enemies within the targeting circle during guided mode to lock on to them. The pistol had issues with failing to lock onto large enemies, but the issue was fixed following patch 01.003.103.
- Single fire: The weapon fires bursts of three rounds whenever you hold down the shoot button. Tap the shoot button to fire one round at a time. Doing so is useful to conserve ammo while targeting weaker enemies.
- Ideal Targets: The P-92 Warrant excels in targeting highly mobile and flying enemies because of its guided ammunition. Its ideal matchups are against Shriekers, Elevated Overseers, and Hunters at a distance.
- Range: Bullets fired from the P-92 Warrant have no drag, which means they don’t fall because of gravity and deal full damage regardless of range.
