Secrets of the Restricted Section Quest
Learn the Disillusionment Charm
- Return to Professor Fig’s classroom
- You speak with Professor Fig briefly, but before the two of you can go to the Library, Headmaster Black interrupts and demands Fig’s attention
- Talk to Sebastian Sallow
- Speak with him, and Sebastian will agree to help
- Meet Sebastian in the Central Hall at night
- In order to get past the prefects outside the door to the Library, Sebastian will teach you the Disillusionment Charm
- Make your way successfully though the mini-game to move on
Sneak into the Library
- Now you’ll need to cast this spell on yourself, and quietly make your way down the stairs and to the door without being detected
Enter the Athenaeum
- Down the stairs inside you come to a large gap. Use Revelio and it will highlight a rune up above the doorway on the other side. Hit that run with a basic attack spell and that will trigger a pathway across.
Sentry Battle #2
- The next room will have 8 sentries! They don’t all activate at once, but will awaken in fairly quick succession. Stay on your toes, and watch out for a blue circle around your feet that means they’re making a leap to stomp on you. Protego will protect you from their smaller hits, but not from that one!
- Once defeated, the door to the final room with unlock
- As you approach and interact with the book, you’ll see a cut scene
- After a bit of story, the game returns with your character looking for Sebastian in the library.
