Here we break down the various endings of Hollow Knight Silksong and their various requirements for completion.

Similar to Hollow Knight, Silksong has multiple endings as well. However, each of these have different unlock conditions, which you need to meet before they get unlocked. All in all there are a total of five endings (including a hidden ending as well). Needless to say, this guide will contain heavy spoilers for all the endings. So, tread with caution.

Weaver Queen

You defeat Grand Mother Silk (the final boss) and bind her power. The kingdom gets covered in threads from Hornet’s silk threads. However, the citizens do not have a happy ending, as they remain trapped beneath layers of threads. At the end, Hornet is seen at the center of these threads, with more arms sprouting from her body. These likely indicate her new transformation into a spider-like entity.
Snared Silk

(Technically, this isn’t an ending, as you can still proceed with the game afterwards to get the true ending.)
You will first need to unlock the Silk and Soul Wayfarer quest. This can only happen once you complete all other quests in the game. This starts Act 3 of Silksong. You need to collect the following four components:
- Maiden’s Soul
- Hermit’s Soul
- Seeker’s Soul
- Snare Setter
After this quest, you can proceed to the battle with Grand Mother Silk to get this ending (and achievement). Make sure to play the Needolin instead of using Bind. The Void will appear after this happens and attempt to consume Silk. Silk in turn tries to take Hornet along with her. However, Lace saves Hornet at the last second.
Twisted Child

Through the story of Silksong, you can get cursed by the Witch. If you do not get rid of this curse before going to defeat Grand Mother Silk, then this ending plays out. This is the shortest of the endings, and all we see is Hornet’s cursed body lying on the ground, as tendrils are spreading out from her lifeless body. Needless to say, you will likely only want to get the ending for the purpose of the achievement.
Sister of the Void

Likely the true ending of the game, this one has you fight the true final boss of the game. First, you must get to Act 3 of the game and defeat Grand Mother Silk (same steps as the Snared Silk ending). After the credits roll, go back into this save file. Now, you need to obtain the Diving Bell Key, and then dive into the Abyss below the docks. Here, you will fight Lost Lace, the true final boss of the game. After this epic battle, a short cutscene will play out showing Hornet and Lace trying to escape the Void.
However, they are unsuccessful in this attempt and are about to get caught when the Knight from the first game saves both of them. This not only confirms Silksong’s status as Hollow Knight’s sequel but also tells us that not all the endings could be the true ending.
The last hidden ending is unclear at the moment. It will be added as more information gets out about the game. Those were all the endings and how to get them in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
