Hollow Knight Silksong: All Shakra Locations (Map Merchant)

Shakra is a recurring NPC merchant which appears through many locations all throughout Hollow Knight Silksong, selling you the map.

Getting the map is one of your first and high-priority jobs as a beginner of Hollow Knight: Silksong. These maps are sold by a merchant named Shakra. This NPC is the counterpart of Cornifer from the first game, who also sold you area maps.

You will only be able to buy the map of the current region you are exploring. Moreover, once you progress past a certain point, Shakra disappears from these locations to appear elsewhere. Here is where to find this map merchant in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Mosslands and The Marrow

The first area you fall into is called the Mosslands. However, you will not be able to find the map of this area initially. Instead, once you beat the Moss Mother, you can proceed to the area called the Marrow. As soon as you enter this region through Bone Bottom, keep going to the right side.

You will reach the shrine where you can insert 30 Rosaries to make a bench. Keep progressing to the right, and you will come to a new area with some enemies. Progress ahead, while platforming upwards, and to the left. Here you will encounter some flying enemies. Dispatch them and move to the right side.

You can now jump upwards into another area. This will be a long climb upwards, filled with crumbling platforms and some enemies. Once you reach the top, go left. Now keep going left, while jumping over any gaps in between. You will eventually hear Shakra’s voice, indicating you are close.

Deep Docks

This location is much easier to find than before. As soon as you exit the Marrow and enter the Deep Docks, keep going in a straight line. You will find a sign in between pointing to a Bench. You can take some elevators to save this resting spot, but it is unnecessary while trying to get the map.

Come back through the elevator, and keep going right. You will exit into a new area, and immediately hear Shakra’s voice again. Simply drop down from here, and you will see this merchant.

Far Fields

From the previous location, there will be two exits to the Far Fields. Take the lower one and sprint to the right side. You will encounter lots of enemies (grounded and flying) on the way. You can choose to fight them, of course, but you can sprint past them for the sake of the map as well.

Keep proceeding to the right side until you come to a huge column area, with wind drafts flowing upwards. Shakra will be in a small pocket on the lower right side of this area.
