By the endgame, you have likely explored or reached every area on the map. Moreover, this guide will assume you have collected all the Crests within the game, including the newest Shaman Crest. Additionally, you will receive extra Tool slots if you have collected every Crest present.

Moreover, you will need the Shaman Crest, as that will be the centerpiece for this build. Although the Crest is unlocked only during Act 3 (which certifies its status as a late-game item), its utility is unmatched. You get three Silk Skill slots to equip skills into. This build gives you a lot of coverage and lets you deal with most situations quite easily.

Below is a list of pros and cons for this build:

ProsCons

The Shaman Crest can only be acquired after you get the Silk Soar ability during Act 3 of Silksong. However, this is worth it. The Shaman Crest makes your attacks shoot out waves of Silk in whichever direction you attack. Additionally, this is the preferred choice during the endgame due to its Tool and Skill slots as well.

This Crest has three Silk Skill slots, which is great for clearing most encounters you face. Apart from this, you can also get an extra Blue and Yellow Tool slot. This lets you use the Compass as well, to never get lost. Without the ability to use the Compass, perhaps this build would not be as highly valued as it is.

This skill has access to three of these abilities:

  • You have access to a wide variety of Silk Skills at this point in the game. Pale Nails is an auto-homing ability that follows your enemies. This is great for attacking from a ranged distance, as well as dealing with flying enemies.
  • Secondly, Sharp Dart is a good damage-dealing and movement skill. If your way ahead is blocked by an enemy or enemies, then you can use this skill to dart through them while simultaneously dealing damage.
  • Lastly, Cross Stitch is used to not only guard against hits, but counter back and deal damage brutally. Moreover, this skill covers a decent area as well, so you can use it even while dealing with multiple enemies.

This Crest only comes unlocked with three White Slots. However, you can also use Memory Lockets to unlock two extra Blue Slots. These will be crucial for increasing your Silk generation and help in surviving longer. Moreover, you can also get an extra Blue and Yellow slot from talking with Eva.

This brings your slots up to three Blue and one Yellow. The Yellow one is an obvious pick for the Compass. However, there are other decent Yellow Tools you can use if you have memorized the map layout and where to go next.

Apart from that, Weavelight and Druid’s Eyes both help increase the Silk generation speed. Lastly, the Fractured Mask is the ultimate defensive Tool, and gives you one last chance to either finish the battle or retreat from it.

Best Endgame Build For Hollow Knight Silksong: Tips And Tricks

Here are the basic tips and tricks to use this best early-game build in Hollow Knight Silksong:

  • You don’t have to focus on getting close to lots of enemies. Try to deal with them at a range, while also generating Silk.
  • The Weavelight increases all Silk generation, which makes using Silk Skills much faster.
  • Cross Stitch will be a great counter skill to use when you can predict the next attack from an enemy.
  • If the Fractured Mask activates, then you might want to retreat from battle or play safely until you can store up some Silk to heal until full. Your Silk generation is increased from every hit you take or dish out. This makes filling up the Silk gauge very simple.
