Plasmified Zango is a boss you can beat using multiple ways, but best done while doing a certain Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong.

Plasmified Zango is a boss enemy that you can encounter while exploring the Wormways of Hollow Knight Silksong. This creature might give you a lot of trouble due to a mechanic that no other bosses have: regeneration.
This mechanic makes Zango particularly difficult to deal with if you don’t have the right setup. This guide will show you the perfect strategy to overpower its regeneration and bury this foe.
Where To Find Plasmified Zango in Hollow Knight Silksong?

You can find this creature during the third act of Silksong, in the Wormways. The exact location of this boss room is shown on the map above. You might have noticed that the room is quite close to the third location where you had to extract Plasmium from, in the Alchemist’s Assistant quest.
Right next to that location, there is a breakable wall, as shown in the images above, which you can destroy. Head through this pathway and you will reach Zango.
However, make sure that you have finished the Alchemist’s Assistant Wish, and either started or completed the Advanced Alchemy Wish as well.
Hollow Knight Silksong: Plasmified Zango Boss Fight Overview

This boss has a very simple and passive move set. It only has two moves you need to watch out for:
- Plasma Rain: The boss spits out Plasma in an area around it. The projectiles fly up before arcing downwards in both left and right directions.
- Crawling Dash: The boss drops down and charges toward Hornet.
The main mechanic behind this boss is its regeneration. Thankfully, Hornet has various ways to overpower this regeneration using different Tools. Read on to learn more about the best Tools you should use in this scenario.
How To Beat Plasmified Zango in Hollow Knight Silksong: Tips and Tricks
This isn’t a particularly aggressive boss. So, you can use the following ways to beat it down:
- The Needle Phial from the Advanced Alchemy Wish can be used on this boss to lock away 25% of its maximum health every time you use it. This means that you can kill this boss with 4 hits of this Tool.
- Alternatively, you can use Tacks, Cogfly and/or Cogwork Wheel to make quick work of this boss.
- However, if you don’t want to use Tools or don’t have them, then straight brawling still works, but is not recommended. Every time you let up from attacking, this boss will start healing up. This requires you to mount pressure constantly; otherwise, you risk losing your damage dealt.
Keep the above points in mind from this boss guide for the Plasmified Zango in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
