Getting your hands on the Putrefied Ducts map in Hollow Knight Silksong can be a huge boon when exploring that particular location. Like most other locations, the Putrefied Ducts also contain several secrets or hidden routes. Without the map in your possession, you might walk by one of these hidden spots without even looking twice.

A map in your possession is a great way to tell which routes lead where and how you can access some of the hidden nooks and crannies in the region. In the following guide, we’ll explore how you can get your hands on the map for the Putrefied Ducts.

How To Find the Putrefied Ducts Map in Hollow Knight Silksong

Before you can get the map, you’ll first need to reach the Putrefied Ducts location. Getting there will require you to cross the Citadel, which is a late-game area. So, don’t expect to head to the Putrefied Ducts as soon as you begin a new playthrough. However, once you progress far enough in the game to get to this area, you’ll need to find the region’s map.

Unlike many of the other location maps, you can’t simply buy the Putrefied Ducts map from a vendor in the game. Instead, you’ll need to head to a certain location to get it. Follow the steps mentioned below to retrieve the map.

• As you enter the Putrefied Ducts, proceed to the right. You can choose to either engage the enemies or avoid them here. All enemies shoot an acid-like substance that you’d want to avoid at all costs.

• You’ll also come across an enemy hanging from the roof with a long tongue protruding downward. If Hornet comes into contact with the tongue, she’ll be pulled closer to the enemy.

• As you keep proceeding to the right, you’ll eventually reach a door. It doesn’t matter if you used the higher or the lower platform to reach this door. Both paths have some dangers to them, although we felt the upper platform was generally safer.

• Enter the door and glide down until you see the Bellway sign. You can head inside to unlock a rest bench and fast travel point by spending a few Rosaries.

• Then, come out of the Bellway and glide down further. Once you reach the bottom, head to the left room.

• Keep proceeding left until you reach a point with some veins hanging from a top pathway. Bait the veins, and they’ll carry Hornet all the way to the top without dealing damage.

• Just before the veins suck Hornet inside the plant, hit the attack button to free yourself and land on the pathway going to the right.

• Head right and you’ll discover the Putrefied Ducts map sitting on a table here.
