In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how you can reach Songclave, also known as First Shrine, in Hollow Knight Silksong.
In Hollow Knight Silksong, Songclave is a location in the far right of the Chloral Chambers. Additionally, it is the location of the White Key if you are looking to access the Underworks (which is a Craftmetal location) and the Cauldron. How To Get To Songclave in Hollow Knight Silksong
These are the steps you have to follow in order to reach Songclave in Hollow Knight Silksong:
- Start at the top right of the Choral Chambers and open the door you see there.
- Keep going down the straightforward hallway, dashing occasionally as needed.
- At the end of the hall, you will see a big important-looking chapel, the First Shrine.
- Enter the chapel, ring the bell, and rest on the free bench,
- Once you leave, an old man berates you. He is the first resident of the town of Songclave.
You have arrived at the town of Songclave, which will fill up with more residents as you progress. One of those residents is Jubiliana, who shows up after you complete the Wandering Merchant Wish. You can purchase useful items from her, like a Mask Shard.
Things To Do in Songclave
While at Songclave for the first time, make sure to do the following:
- Collect the White Key located past the First Shine and on the extreme right of Songclave. You will need this key to complete the Balm for the Wounded Wish.
- Activate the Ventrica Station at the top, which will be helpful for Act 2.
- From the Station, go down and left, across the long path with a glass floor.
You can either choose to fight the guards you encounter at the end of the path for money or bypass them by executing a dive kick to bounce over them instead.
