Weavelight in Hollow Knight Silksong is one of the Blue tools you’ll want to acquire as soon as possible, especially if you rely heavily on Hornet’s Silk reserves. However, you can’t just purchase it from one of the vendors in the game like some other tools, nor will you find it lying around randomly while exploring. Instead, it drops from a specific encounter with a duo of boss-like enemies. If you’re trying to find the Weavelight, here’s our detailed guide on its location and how you can obtain it.

You’ll first need to get to Weavenest Atla from Moss Grotto. Once in that region, go down to the lowest floor and continue left. Near the very end of this area, you’ll come across a breakable wall. Destroy it and proceed into a secret area. At the end of this section, you’ll find an entrance blocked by vines. Cut them down and move forward to trigger a fight with a pair of Moss Mothers.

Each Moss Mother is the same as the first boss you fight in the game. The only difference is that you’ll need to deal with two at the same time. Fortunately, they don’t have much health, so you shouldn’t find it too difficult to defeat them. Another thing to note is that the battle begins with only one Moss Mother attacking you. Take this opportunity to deal as much damage as possible before the second enemy enters the arena. After defeating both, you’ll receive the Weavelight tool as a drop.

How To Use Weavelight in Hollow Knight Silksong

Weavelight is a great tool if you’re looking to speed up Silk regeneration. With it equipped in one of your crest slots, you will regenerate two Silk bars at the beginning instead of just one. However, keep in mind that the Silk Regeneration ability is not available to Hornet at the start of the game. You’ll unlock it after your battle with the Bell Beast when you get the first of three Silk Hearts.

Only after you have that ability is it worth acquiring Weavelight. With faster Silk regeneration, you can use your Silk Skills more frequently and heal more with your Bind ability.
