In this guide, we’ll explore how to unlock the Sharpdart Silk Skill from Weavenest Karn in Hollow Knight Silksong.
The Sharpdart in Hollow Knight Silksong is one of the six Silk Skills you can get for combat. It allows you to pierce through enemies while dealing damage. Moreover, you don’t take damage during the duration of the skill. The Sharpdart is akin to the Shade Cloak from Hollow Knight, but it requires Silk to use in Silksong.
The game does not provide any hints on where you can get any of the Silk Skills. Therefore, the only way to find Sharpdart is by exploring all the corners of Pharloom and getting lucky. To help you out, here’s a guide on how to unlock the Sharpdart Silk Skill in Hollow Knight Silksong.
Location of Sharpdart Silk Skill in Hollow Knight Silksong
You can find the Sharpdart skill in Weavenest Karn, a secret location in the Wormways region. The door is located in the middle-left section of the area. The best way to reach this location is through the locked door that you need to open to get the Wanderer’s Crest. Run past the unlocked gate and climb up to the upper room. From there, keep going left until you reach the locked stone door.
To unlock the door, you have to use the Needolin, which you get from defeating the Widow in Act 1. Doing so unlocks Weavenest Karn, a long-forgotten location unique to the Weavers. From here, you either need the Clawline or the Faydown Cloak to make it to the structure with the Sharpdart Silk Skill.
There are numerous worms falling from the ceiling in this area. Learn the timing of the worms and cross when you are completely safe. Be careful of the floor, as it is mostly covered in spikes. After reaching the stone structure to the left, bind with the Sharpdart so it can replace your existing Silk Skill.

Using the Sharpdart Silk Skill in Hollow Knight Silksong
As mentioned earlier, using Sharpdart lets Hornet pierce enemies in a straight line. During this time, she gains brief invincibility. The best moment to use the skill is during attacks that are hard to dodge or maneuver around.
Many bosses in Silksong have moves that deal damage or have effects on only one side. This means you can use Sharpdart to quickly position yourself on the other side and deal some extra damage in the process.
