Hollow Knight Silksong has a ton of quests for you to complete, but the Rite of Rebirth Wish is one of the hardest due to its infuriating gimmick. This Wish curses Hornet, leading to her suffering from a limited Silk pool with no heals. This gimmick makes for an infuriating stretch of gameplay, and the lack of direction only serves to make things worse.

How To Begin Rite of Rebirth Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong
You begin the Rite of Rebirth Wish by acquiring the Twisted Bud and then talking to Greyroot in Shellwood. You find the Twisted Bud in the Bile Water area, in the top left end to be precise. Once you have the Twisted Bud, talk to Greyroot and then hand over the item to him. This will begin the Rite of Rebirth Wish, which will then transport you over to a new area of the map, Chapel of the Witch.
How To Complete the Rite of Rebirth Wish in Hollow Knight Silksong
Once you begin the Rite of Rebirth Wish, you’ll be transported over to the Chapel of the Witch. After spawning, head all the way left till you reach a large room with white flowers. Head down below and you’ll find a bench that you can use. Use this bench to rest, and then make your way up again. Head all the way up to reach the next area.
Once you’re up above, take the right towards Bellhart. Talk to Pavo in Bellhart, and then continue forward to the right and toward Greymoor. Keep moving straight till you find the vent leading up. Follow this vent up above to the next area. Head for the general top right direction here, and then straight up in the room with the cogwheels. Take a left at the very top, and this path will lead you to a Locked Bellhome. Talk to Yarnaby inside here to acquire the Infestation Operation quest.
Exit the hut and head directly to the right till you end up at Sinner’s Road. Make for the top right corner of this area to get to the next, and then it’s a straight dash to the right till you see a bench signboard. Keep heading up and right till you find a hut with Crull and Benjin inside. Purchase the Steel Spines from the NPCs, and then return them to Yarnaby to lift the curse and complete the quest. Completing this quest will net you the Crest of the Witch.
