Rune Slayer is a role playing game on Roblox. The game revolves around gamers defeating various types of mobs and bosses and collecting cosmetic items. Players also need to select classes and join factions which decide the characters playstyle in Rune Slayer. Let us look at how gamers can join the Holy and Demon Factions in Rune Slayer on Roblox.
Holy and Demon Factions
The two opposing factions in Rune Slayer are the Holy and Demon Factions. Each faction can be joined by completing different quests and interacting with specific NPC’s in the game.
Holy Faction
For joining the Holy Faction, gamers will have to travel to Lakeshire and talk to Arthiel, the Sacred Blade in Knight’s Templar. Following are the directions for finding Arthiel-
- Gamers need to climb the mountains behind the Adventurer’s Guild on the western side of town.
- After reaching the hilltop, players will find a pond that leads into a river. Gamers have to follow the river and they will spot a stone archway carved into the mountain on the left.
- Pass through the arch to reach the entrance of Lakeshire. After entering Lakeshire, gamers should take a left and follow the outer walls until they come across a cave.
- Interact with the guard at the cave entrance to use the lift.
- At the top, turn left and climb the rocks leading to an opening in the hill. From there, take a right and continue climbing the mountain until you arrive at Knight’s Templar.
- Cross the room, and gamers will find Arthiel standing near swords and shields.
- Gamers need to interact with Arthiel and select “I want to join your cause.” to officially join the Holy Faction.
Demon Faction
For joining the Demon Faction, gamers will have to travel to Balgaron Chasm and talk to Malzareth, the Worldscorcher in Demon Sect. The directions for finding Malzareth are given below-
- Gamers need to head back down from Knight’s Templar to the spot where the lift dropped them off.
- Walk toward the guard standing on the right side of the door and pay him five silver to open it.
- Once inside, be prepared for an ambush by dragon-like mobs called Imps.
- Enter Balgaron Chasm and take the first right and then a left to cross a narrow bridge.
- Gamers need to continue moving forward until they reach another bridge.
- Jump onto the wall in front to land on a ledge, then keep repeating this process to descend further.
- Eventually, players will reach an area with red blocks.
- Keep following these red blocks until players spot a massive hole with lava flowing through it.
- Carefully descend by jumping from ledge to ledge until gamers arrive at the entrance of the Demon Sect stronghold.
- Find Malzareth and interact with him to select “I would like to join you in desecrating this world.” to officially join the Demon Faction.
