Date Everything is a quirky sandbox dating simulator that features 100 Dateables to find and form relationships with. The protagonist receives a strange pair of glasses called the Dateviators, which allow them to bring inanimate objects to life and date them. Each line is voiced, and the game features a prominent voice acting cast that brings emotional depth to the characters.

With so much to explore, new and prospective players can be overwhelmed, sparking questions about the game’s content and length. Roughly, Date Everything will take 50+ hours to complete. Let’s get into the details of it.

It takes around 50 hours to complete the main story of Date Everything and meet all 100 Dateables. Since the game takes a sandbox approach and players are free to pursue endings with every single character, the playtime can extend to 80 hours for completionists.

However, the average player is unlikely to seek out every character in the game, instead focusing on uncovering their favorites. This can also take considerable time, as several interesting characters like Airyn and Shadowlord are well hidden. Additionally, some characters like Hero-Hime require you to progress the story to find them.

Base Game Content

The story of Date Everything begins when you receive the Dateviators from a mysterious benefactor. After a brief tutorial introduces you to a handful of Dateables, the sandbox is open, and you are free to find any character hidden away in the house. However, you only have five charges for the Dateviators per day, meaning you can only talk to a maximum of five characters before going to bed.

The game lists all 100 Dateables on the Date-a-Dex, displaying unlocked characters and only the silhouette for undiscovered characters. The higher a character is listed on the Date-a-Dex, the rarer they are to find and the harder they are to romance in general.

The game progresses as you find more Dateables and realize them by reaching endings with them, with positive endings sometimes requiring certain stats. You get different stat increases by reaching endings with Dateables. The game’s story ending unlocks after achieving enough character conclusions.

Lavish DLC

For those who have completed the base game and want more, the Lavish DLC adds two more characters. They are Michael Transaction and Lucinda Lavish. Michael Transaction is a romanceable microtransaction, and Lucinda Lavish embodies the deluxe edition or DLC itself. Like other Dateables, they both have love, befriend, and hate endings.
