The amount of time that it takes to beat Sniper Elite Resistance and complete its main story depends entirely on your playstyle.
The latest entry in the Sniper Elite franchise takes you to France in the 1940s, where your goal is to thwart the German plans for a nerve-gas bioweapon. The game is rather linear, and you will find markers for all objectives that you can complete during a mission. To that extent, Sniper Elite Resistance is not a very long game, and you can finish it rather quickly if you want to speedrun it.
In most cases, you will be able to beat Sniper Elite Resistance in 8 hours completely. This is considering you take a hybrid approach and complete objectives organically, without actively seeking out additional stuff to do. If you want to speedrun or take a completionist approach, the timings will change drastically. Sniper Elite Resistance Completion Times Explored
For a story-focused game, Sniper Elite Resistance is fairly short and does not take a lot of time to beat. Ideally, you could even speedrun the main story of the game in a single sitting, provided you have the energy and patience for it. That said, different playstyles will still see different completion times.
Unlike other games where difficulty plays an important part in the completion time, this factor is not likely to affect your timings in Sniper Elite Resistance. Here are the timings to beat this game based on different playstyles:

- Average: ~8 hours
- Completionist: ~25 hours

Speedrun Completion
You can speedrun the entire main mission of Sniper Elite Resistance and beat the game in approximately 5 hours. In this playstyle, you simply head to your main mission, one that is crucial to progress to the next main mission of the game.
Admittedly, this is not the recommended style of playing, and you will miss out on a lot of content. This includes special unlockables like weapons and even separate game modes. To unlock these later on, you will have to replay the missions.
Average Completion
On average, it would take approximately 8 hours to beat the main story of Sniper Elite Resistance. This run is what most of you would undertake and involves completing any additional objectives as they organically appear in your path. This includes finding some posters or documents, killing certain Nazi officers, or even sabotaging specific sections.
Completing additional objectives also gives you a better mission score and increases your EXP faster to level up your character. The biggest advantage of these is that some weapons are often locked behind these objectives. Hence, completing these as you come across them is advised.
Completionist Run
A completionist run in Sniper Elite Resistance can easily take up to 25 hours to beat to entire game. A completionist run will require you to search every nook and cranny of every map, unlock every alternate entry point, find all collectible items, and complete every additional objective. Given the freedom of choice and the vast number of tasks, it will take a significant chunk of your time.
The completionist run will allow you to experience the entirety of Sniper Elite Resistance. These will also unlock all the Propaganda missions, which will also add a couple more hours to your gameplay time.
