In some areas, you can spend hours and hours exploring, while others are exact and tunneled, where you have no space to follow anything other than the predetermined path.
On average, it will take 22 hours to complete Stellar Blade. This is taking into consideration that you do not speedrun the game, or do not seek out every adventure that is to be had. Difficulty does not play a major factor in these times, since combat greatly depends on your skill. Speedrun Completion in Stellar Blade
This is a fairly easy game to speedrun, especially on NG+ runs. All of your skills are leveled up, and your cores are maxed out as well, making it incredibly easy to cheese through each fight. NG+ runs might take less than 14 hours as well if you are skilled enough. However, if you want to speedrun the game on your very first try, you will likely need around 14 hours to completely beat Stellar Blade. Note that speedrunning is not the suggested way to play the game, as you miss out on a lot of content. More importantly, you are guaranteed to miss out on the secret ending of Stellar Blade.
Average Completion Time for Stellar Blade Campaign
On average, you will need around 22 hours to beat the campaign of Stellar Blade. After the initial stages, Xion, Wasteland, and The Great Desert – all three of these areas are open-world. You will come across several characters (mostly in Xion) who will give you a lot of side missions. However, you will have to seek out these NPCs and converse with them to begin the quests. These will more than often involve delving into the Wastelands and The Great Desert.
While these are completely optional, you will end up doing some of these on an average run. Based on how many of these you complete, the time will keep increasing. The average time takes into consideration that you engage in some of these side missions and do not extensively seek all possible missions and collectibles.
Completionist Run in Stellar Blade
You will easily need at least 50 hours to do a completionist run in Stellar Blade. This will require completing all side missions in all areas, finding every hidden passage, looting every corpse and collecting all items. While you do need a lot of time with this, you are also getting the authentic Stellar Blade experience. If you are a “platinum hunter”, then you are most likely to exceed the 50-hour mark as well, since some achievements require NG+ specifically.

If you have the special DLC pack that includes the collaboration content with Nikke, then you are likely to spend an additional 40 minutes to 1 hour completing Stellar Blade. There are quite a few Nikke-based missions, and a boss fight with Scarlet.
