Case Baker, popularly known as CaseOh, has won the Content Creator of the Year award at The Game Awards 2024. On December 7, 2024, he won the Gamer of the Year award at the Streamer Awards 2024. Case has had a massive year in terms of popularity and viewer engagement; he is currently ranked as the third most popular English-speaking streamer on Twitch.
CaseOh currently has over 6.22 million followers on Twitch, over 545.3K followers on X, and 6.34 million YouTube subscribers. Case won the Best Variety Streamer at the Streamer Awards 2023 hosted by QTCinderella. He was once again nominated in 2024 for the award but ended up winning the Gamer of the Year award.
On Twitch, CaseOh averages 50,000–60,000 viewers per stream and peaked at over 100,000 concurrent viewers during a collaboration with Jynxzi. His success is also reflected on TikTok, where he shares clips and boasts a following of over 8.6 million.
Community Reaction to CaseOh Winning the Awards
CaseOh was not sure about winning the award and even said in the stream that he wouldn’t be winning the award. However, when Geoff Keighley announced that Case was the Content Creator of the Year, the Arkansas native was left shocked. Case then went on to give a victory speech on his stream:
“That right there just goes to show you, no matter who you are or where you are from, you can wind up doing something that you never thought possible. I’m some random fat dude that looks like a lumberjack from a small town in Arkansas, who was living in a trailer. Right? And then, that just happened. Hey, you never know where life is going to take you, man.”
Baker won the award and delivered a victory speech that garnered widespread praise from fans. Netizens commented on how humble Case is and how he deserves the award.
