Pocket Pair’s Palworld is a survival crafting game that emphasizes base-building. The ultimate purpose of the game is to expand and upgrade your base with the help of Pokemon-like creatures called Pals.
However, over a period of time, your base may become fully occupied, creating a need for additional bases. Is it possible to create more than one base in Palworld? The answer is yes! In Palworld, you can have multiple bases. The survival crafting game allows you to build up to three primary bases.
The Palbox is an essential structure in the game; it serves as the heart of your base. Bases established with the Palbox are considered primary bases. You can also build as many secondary bases as you want across the map. You just have to construct and manage the associated structures without a Palbox. The secondary bases don’t allow fast travel, and you can’t assign Pals to any of their tasks.

How To Unlock More Bases in Palworld
Now, we know that players can build up to three bases in Palworld, but how does one unlock them? You will start the game with your first base. While completing the missions and expanding your base, it will eventually level up. Interact with the Palbox to view the base level, the maximum number of working Pals, and the number of bases you can have.
Here is how you can build more bases:
- Base 2: You can build your second primary base once your base reaches level 10.
- Base 3: Hit base level 15 to unlock your third primary base.
After reaching the required levels, you can place your Palbox anywhere on the Island to build your additional bases.
How to Disassemble Your Base in Palworld
In case you built your base in an unsuitable location, such as a slope, you can disassemble it and rebuild it elsewhere. In Palworld, there are several ways to disassemble your base:
- Use the Palbox: Approach the Palbox and hit the “Disassemble” option to pack the structures and the Pals on your base.
- Use the Map: Hover over your base on the map and select the “Disassemble Palbox” option to perform the same action.
Do note that some structures, like Wooden Chest and Plantations, will not be affected by the Disassemble option. They must be manually packed before you can relocate them.
