HasanAbi receives his fifth Twitch ban following a recent suspension seemingly related to political content.
Hasan “HasanAbi” Piker has been banned on Twitch for the fifth time. The popular political Twitch streamer faces the recent suspension following comments about Senator Rick Scott. His previous suspensions have been related to DMCA violations and hateful conduct.
While his longest suspension lasted for 7 days, his shortest suspension on the platform lasted only a few seconds. Hasan is known for his political commentary, which often consists of controversial statements. However, netizens also speculate that Twitch favors the streamer, as they have not banned him for several supposed violations.

His previous suspensions include a DMCA violation and multiple violations of Twitch’s terms of service. Hasan had over 2.81 million followers prior to his suspension on the Amazon-owned platform. Although his bans have been for a short period of time, fans have expressed their disappointment over Twitch’s conduct. The community was divided over opinions, with some stating the ban was long overdue, and others stating that Twitch was biased with the ban. Some fans called out Twitch for their bias against HasanAbi.
HasanAbi’s Previous Bans Explored
While his fifth and the most recent suspension seems to fall under hateful conduct, HasanAbi has faced several violations regarding different issues. The streamer faced his first suspension on the platform on August 1, 2019, according to StreamerBans. While his first suspension only lasted a few seconds, the ban was supposedly a mistake on Twitch’s end. However, the streamer was once again banned in August 2019 following his inflammatory comments about the 9/11 tragedy.
HasanAbi faced suspension on Twitch in December 2021 after the streamer used the word “cr*cker,” which is considered a racial slur. The streamer was suspended for 7 days once again, which is his longest suspension on the platform as of now. Hasan posted a reaction to his ban, stating:
“yes. it is for exactly what you think it is. anti white racism for using the term “cr*cker.””
The streamer’s most recent ban on the platform lasted for a day and came after the streamer reacted to a debate on stream. Reportedly, Hasan’s stream was copyright struck by Censored.tv. While the ban lasted a day, the streamer took to X to call out the organization stating:
“these n*zis sure love talking about free speech only to use the most abused copyright mechanism to takedown someone covering and criticizing their silly ideas. absolutely pathetic.”
