Fousey, better known as FouseyTube, a prominent Palestinian-American prankster, was born on January 22, 1990, making him 34 years old.
Fousey, or FouseyTube, is a YouTube star who has accumulated over 10.4 million subscribers on the platform. He established a significant online presence through his comedic skits, vlogs, and social experiments.
Recognized for his creativity and engaging personality, Yousef Erakat was born on January 22, 1990, in California, where he grew up with his younger sister. Currently, he is 34 years old. Even though he created a channel on YouTube in 2011, he did not immediately start uploading videos.
Initially, he uploaded fitness videos where he followed workout routines, rated them, and showcased his progress. Then he began uploading prank videos and comedic skits like “Middle Eastern Family Skits,” which became extremely popular due to their originality.
Fousey also gained media attention through his social experiments and was featured on various talk shows. He then started vlogging on a channel named “DOSEofFOUSEY.” Due to his popularity on YouTube, he also landed acting roles, including parts in the movie Boo! A Madea Halloween.
Fousey’s Boxing Career
In 2019, Wifinity (an English boxing company) signed him for a match with Slim Albehar. Although Fousey lost, Slim expressed admiration for him and showed sportsmanship. They became great friends after the match and have recorded many videos together.
In 2018, Fousey called out YouTubers Jake Paul and Deji, challenging them to face him in the boxing ring. Deji later responded by saying that Fousey was “nowhere near ready.” In a reaction video, Deji roasted him for sparring with fellow YouTuber Alex Wassabi on August 26, 2018. The Palestinian-American YouTuber lashed out at Deji on X through a series of tweets.
Deji later stated that Fousey was an “easy fight,” and the two had altercations backstage at the YouTubers vs. TikTokers press conference. On July 31, 2022, it was announced that Fousey would be fighting Deji on August 27, 2022.
Fousey was defeated by Deji in the third round via TKO. He later tweeted, congratulating Deji and acknowledging it as a well-deserved win.
Controversies Regarding Yousef Erakat
On August 6, 2023, Yousef was streaming on Twitch. During the stream, he met a girl who had been a victim of s*x trafficking. He was seen flirting with her live on camera. At one point, both of them left the stream for a few minutes minutes. When he returned, Yousef said:
“I joined the mile-high club. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I should not have shared that. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m lying, by the way, it was a joke. It’s a joke, a huge joke… You got pranked by FouseyTube.”
Allegedly, due to this incident, Twitch banned his account for the second time. The platform didn’t give an official reason for the ban. Afterward, Yousef announced he would continue streaming on Kick.
The incident caused a lot of mixed reactions online. Following this, Erakat decided to take a break from his subathon.
Following this incident, on August 23, 2023, he was arrested for getting into fights with Kick streamer N3ON and YouTuber Jack Doherty. He became enraged after N3ON said that Fousey was “far from perfect” and mocked his denture. Jack Doherty referred to the 34-year-old as “beta,” which upset him, prompting Fousey to splash water on his face before slapping him.
Later that day, while in his hotel room, Fousey claimed his life was in danger, called 911, and got into an argument with the dispatcher. When police arrived, he was asked to provide details to identify the alleged threat but instead lashed out at the officers, calling them “d*mb.” He was subsequently taken to the hospital for a mental health check-up following his arrest.
