Jack Doherty is a 21-year-old streamer who was recently permanently banned from Kick after some controversy.
Jack Colin Doherty, better known as “Jack Doherty,” is a streamer and content creator known for his pranks and IRL content. A native of Long Island, New York, Doherty was born on October 8, 2003, making him 21 years old as of this writing.
He kickstarted his online career at the age of 13 when he uploaded his first-ever video on YouTube. In the one-minute-two-second feature, Jack Doherty tried his hand at the then-viral “marker flip” trend, and managed to flip the marker “twice in a row.”
Another video that helped boost his popularity was GOING TO THE FAZE HOUSE! (SAW FAZE RAIN). In this, Doherty’s mother drove him and a friend to the FaZe Clan house in New York, where the content creator filmed Nordan “FaZe Rain” driving his Audi R8.
Jack Doherty’s Online Career: Exploring Why He Is Considered One of the Most Controversial Streamers
After establishing himself on YouTube and amassing millions of subscribers, Jack Doherty began his livestreaming career by launching his official Kick channel. His antics quickly went viral on social media platforms, such as X, TikTok, and Reddit.
One of his first controversies arose in August 2023 when he collaborated with Yousef “Fousey” and Ragnesh “N3on” for an IRL stream. However, things did not go as planned, as Fousey and Doherty got involved in a heated altercation after the latter referred to the Palestinian-American personality as a “little b**ch.” Fousey responded by slapping Jack Doherty in front of tens of thousands of live viewers.

Later that year, on November 7, 2023, Jack Doherty teamed up with his girlfriend, McKinley Richardson for a livestream. At one point, the two were driving a golf cart. Doherty decided to up his antics and began driving recklessly, resulting in the golf cart tipping over and injuring his significant other.
The 21-year-old has also been involved in disputes with other content creators. For example, Natalie Reynolds, another controversial Kick streamer, leveled grooming allegations against Doherty. Responding to these serious accusations, the latter tweeted:
“Dumbest accusation ever. Stop giving this clout-chasing w**re attention. Her whole account is a fan page for me, Sam, and N3on.”
In another instance, on January 11, 2024, British YouTuber Memeulous accused Jack Doherty of copyright sticking one of his videos, which featured the Kick streamer’s content. Doherty eventually responded, claiming that he did not issue the copyright strikes on Memelous’ video.

Jack Doherty’s Permanent Kick Ban
On October 5, 2024, Doherty hosted an IRL broadcast. He decided to check his live Kick chat on the phone while driving his McLaren sports car through the rain. He then lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the roadside railing. While he was unharmed, the content creator’s cameraman, Michael, sustained significant injuries and was left with a bloody face.
Jack Doherty remained focused on filming the incident for his livestream, so he directed his cameraman to do the same.

The content creator’s behavior and actions drew widespread criticism from the online community. Numerous prominent figures have also expressed their discontent with Doherty, with internet influencer Corinna Kopf writing:
“Your friend’s face is gushing blood but you make sure he stays filming from all angles…. nice.”
Jack Doherty later confirmed that his Kick channel had been permanently banned. As of this writing, his channel on the Stake-backed channel is still inaccessible and displays a 404 error message.
