Kai Cenat has established himself as a leading figure in the content creation and livestreaming industries. The New York native, born on December 16, 2001 (and now 22 years old), has received many prestigious awards. He made headlines earlier this year, in February 2024, when he won the highly coveted Streamer of the Year award for the second time in a row at The Streamer Awards.

Alongside his Just Chatting and gaming content, Kai Cenat is also known for collaborating with celebrities, rappers, and other influential figures. Most recently, he teamed up with WWE superstar John Cena, during which fellow AMP member Fanum “Fanum taxed” Kai Cenat and John Cena’s McDonald’s Big Macs.

Kai Cenat’s Twitch Streaming Statistics Explored

Kai Cenat created his official Twitch channel on January 27, 2021. In just three years, the 22-year-old boasted a whopping 13,445,485 followers. Furthermore, his livestreams attract an average of over 51.4k viewers.

His channel popularity began to rise in August 2022, during his Just Chatting, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Minecraft broadcasts. This was also the month he amassed over 130,000 concurrent viewers for the first time.

February 2023 was when the streamer garnered the most subscribers on his channel. This was thanks to his Mafiathon subathon, a month-long 24/7 livestream. During this time, Kai Cenat broke numerous Twitch records and dethroned Ludwig Ahgren to become the most-subscribed Twitch streamer of all time.

However, in October 2024, VShojo-affiliated VTuber Ironmouse broke his record by hosting her subathon.

Kai Cenat is also an avid gamer. In June 2024, he hosted a gaming marathon during which he finished Elden Ring in a single sitting. It took him 167 hours to complete the base game (the time it took him to kill the game’s final boss, Elden Beast), and another 99 hours to finish the DLC, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.

The following month (July 2024), the New Yorker teamed up with Darren “IShowSpeed” to play and finish Chained Together. The special collaboration resulted in the former garnering an average concurrent viewership of 174,212 viewers.

Kai Cenat Has Officially Announced Mafiathon 2

During his livestream with John Cena, Kai Cenat officially announced the Mafiathon 2 subathon. Through this, he intends to reclaim the Twitch subscribers record, that Ironmouse recently broke.

While he did not reveal when he would host the event, he announced that the next time he livestreams on Twitch, Mafiathon 2 will begin.

He said:

“The record has been broken. And it is now time to suit up. So chat, I won’t be telling you when. But, the next time that you guys will be seeing me is when the Mafiathon begins. All I’ve got to say is no dates. No nothing. The next time y’all see me is for the next Mafiathon. We’re going for the record.”
