Sapnap, real name Nicholas Armstrong, popular content creator and Minecraft streamer, is 23 years old as of this writing.
Nicholas “Nick” Armstrong, aka Sapnap, was born in Houston, Texas on March 1, 2001, which makes him 23 years old as of 2024. He moved into the “Dream Team House” in Orlando with his friends Dream and GeorgeNotFound.
Armstrong, along with Dream and GeorgeNotFound, founded the Dream SMP Minecraft server. He also co-owns the eSports organization NRG Esports. Nick is also signed to Kick to stream and create content on their platform.
Sapnap started uploading on YouTube in October 2019, collaborating with his friends Dream and George. His videos featured Minecraft Speedrun challenges with the Dream Team.
Nicholas often participates in Minecraft events and tournaments, he is considered one of the best players in the Minecraft competitive world. He participated in Squid Craft Games, an event organized by Ibai, Rubius, and other Spanish creators—and won the edition in March 2023.
Growth and Popularity
Sapnap’s content has evolved beyond just Minecraft gameplay. He also interacts with his fans via live streams on Twitch, where he engages in Q&A sessions, casual gameplay, and sometimes other game titles.
Sapnap has gained over 3.21 million followers on Twitch and 4.54 million subscribers on YouTube. Additionally, his social media presence saw impressive growth, The streamer’s X and Instagram accounts also have over 3.3 million and 1.6 million followers respectively.
Sapnap has hosted the Banter Podcast with YouTuber Karl Jacobs since September 2021. After the first episode featuring MrBeast went live, the podcast was at the top of Spotify charts.
Armstrong became a co-owner of NRG Esports in October of 2022 after joining the organization as a content creator. In August of 2023, Kick announced the arrival of Sapnap on the platform.
