American YouTuber and Twitch streamer Karl Thomas Jacobs, formerly known as GamerBoyKarl, is well-known for taking part in MrBeast’s challenge videos. In addition, he used to participate in the Dream SMP Minecraft server. The streamer is 5 feet and 11 inches tall.

Along with fellow YouTubers Sapnap and GeorgeNotFound, he co-hosts the Banter podcast. Karl was five weeks away from graduating from Portland Community College with a major in multimedia when he received an opportunity to work for MrBeast.

Karl Jacobs was a contestant in the “Last To Leave Halloween Candy Wins $10,000” video from CjTheseDays, MrBeast’s older brother, where he first worked. Later on, he made an appearance in the background of some of MrBeast’s videos as a cameraman. Karl joined the MrBeast’s crew on-screen in 2020 after Jake the Viking left. Rumours About Karl Jacobs Being Arrested

Rumors about Karl Jacobs’ alleged arrest spread extensively in November 2024, encouraged primarily by user “Zachxposts.” He claimed Jacobs and other MrBeast crew members were involved in a Telegram chat that distributed explicit photographs. According to Zachxposts, the group supposedly comprised Jacobs, Ava Kris Tyson, and possibly MrBeast himself.

Internet celebrity Keemstar refuted these widely circulated claims that Karl Jacobs was jailed for posting contentious material on a Telegram group reportedly belonging to MrBeast’s team. Keemstar pointed out the absence of confirmed facts and categorically denied the assertion, claiming that the rumors that went viral on TikTok were not true.

Keemstar wrote on X saying that people should stop lying about MrBeast and his company. His post read:
