Everything you need to know about the pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses in Monster Hunter Wilds – how to access them and more.

Similarly to most Triple-A releases nowadays, Monster Hunter Wilds comes with some really cool pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses. Furthermore, if you’ve played the Open Beta Test (OBT) or Monster Hunter World, there are additional in-game bonuses that you can claim straight from within MH Wilds. However, as is the case with most things Monster Hunter, claiming these bonuses can be quite a hassle. It also doesn’t help that the game doesn’t really do a great job of explaining how you can get all these bonuses in-game.
Thankfully, the process of grabbing the pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses is fairly straightforward. On top of that, you can get these bonuses in your in-game Inventory quite early.
Here’s a comprehensive guide on the pre-order and Deluxe Edition bonuses in Monster Hunter Wilds, and how to obtain them.
How To Claim the Pre-Order and Deluxe Edition Bonuses in Monster Hunter Wilds

To claim the pre-order bonus, you need to progress through the main story of Monster Hunter Wilds until you reach the Base Camp at Windward Plains. At the Base Camp, head past the Smithy (Gemma) to reach the Palico named Conut. This is the Support Desk Palico. Talk to Conut to get the option to check up on the latest Monster Hunter news, DLCs, and more. At the Support Desk, you will also find the option Claim Content. Selecting the Claim Content option will allow you to access the pre-order bonus. Simply select the pre-order bonus, i.e., the Hope Charm, and click on Claim Contents to add it to your in-game Inventory.
Under this option, you will also find the bonuses for playing Monster Hunter World, Iceborne, and the OBT. As for the Deluxe Edition bonuses, those are added to your Inventory automatically. To equip the Deluxe Pack bonus Layered Armor, head to your Tent in the Base Camp and select Change Equipment Appearance option.
Contents of the Pre-Order Bonus
The pre-order bonus for Monster Hunter Wilds includes the following:
- Hunter Layered Armor Set: Guild Knight
- Talisman: Hope Charm
The Hope Charm is a Rarity 5 Talisman that you can equip on your Hunter right from the very start of Low Rank. The perks of this Talisman include – Recovery Up and Self-Improvement. Although it’s accessible in Low Rank, the Hope Charm is useful even in early High Rank quests, granted your build makes use of its skills.
The pre-order bonus is included for all editions of the game – Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe. As of writing this article, the only way to secure the Hope Charm is if you have pre-ordered the game. The Talisman may be available as a standalone purchase at a later date. However, Capcom has yet to confirm anything regarding that.
Contents of the Deluxe Pack

The Deluxe Edition and the Premium Deluxe Edition come with the Deluxe Pack DLC. The Deluxe Pack contents are available from the very start of the game. Unlike the pre-order bonus, the items included in the Deluxe Pack don’t affect gameplay and are purely cosmetic. The following are the contents of the Deluxe Pack:
- Hunter Layered Armor Set: Feudal Soldier
- Hunter Layered Armor: Fencer’s Eyepatch, Oni Horns Wig
- Seikret Decoration: Soldier’s Caparison, General’s Caparison
- Felyne Layered Armor Set: Felyne Ashigaru
