Where To Find the Basilisk in Dig?
To encounter the Basilisk, travel to Copper Mesa, a desert-themed island accessed by ferry from Cinder Shores. To unlock the ferry:
- Reach Level 20
- Complete 50% of the Cinder Shores journal
Once you arrive at Copper Mesa, the Basilisk can:
- Spawn naturally every 3–4 hours (0.009% chance per second if no other boss is active).
- Manually summoned using a Toxic Horn, costs $55,000 at the Combat Guild (unlocks after your first Basilisk kill).
How To Beat the Basilisk
The Basilisk has 95,000 HP and fights by summoning ground spikes inside its ring. Each spike hit deals 35 damage, which can quickly add up if you stand too close.
Tips To Survive
- Stay near the outer edge of its arena.
- Move slowly to avoid clustered spike zones.
- Bring healing food or consumables if needed.
- Focus on consistent digging damage; spikes don’t interrupt digging if you’re careful.
With patience and positioning, the fight becomes manageable even for solo players.
