Fisch has several unique fish that you can catch in unique locations. The Ashclaw is one such fish, found during the Roslit Volcano’s eruption. It is one of the five Cataclysmic fishes. It is recommended that you use a high-tier rod like the Seraphic rod to catch this fish. Coal is the preferred bait for it. The Ashclaw will apply a -95% Progress Speed penalty when catching it.
Steps To Catch Ashclaw in Fisch
To begin, head to the Roslit Volcano in Roslit Bay. The Ashclaw only appears during an eruption, so make sure you are prepared with a high-tier rod and Coal bait. Since eruptions occur randomly, there is no way to trigger them manually. Once the Volcano erupts, start fishing, and you can eventually catch the Ashclaw.
Being a Cataclysmic rarity fish, it is difficult to catch. You will also need the Magma Rod to fish in the volcano. Although it is not required for catching the Ashclaw, it is needed to unlock the volcano. The Ruinous Oath rod, along with the Bleached Pearl bait, will give you the best chance to catch Ashclaw.
