Here’s how you can get the Stone Loach in Fields of Mistria and unlock the Water Seal.
The Stone Loach is a common fish in Fields of Mistria. However, unlike other fish, it cannot be found in the mainland waters. Although you can donate or sell it, the Stone Loach has a unique use that advances the main storyline.
Catching the Stone Loach is easy, but you have to be certain about its spawn points. Here’s how you can find the Stone Loach and its uses in detail.
Where To Find Stone Loach in Fields of Mistria
You can find the Stone Loach only in the Upper Layers of the Mines, from Floor 1 to Floor 20. Since there are no diving spots in the Mines, you can always use your trusty Fishing Pole to do the job. If you’re unfamiliar, you can unlock them with the story quest called ‘Unlocking The Mines.’
Once in the Mines, you can locate medium-sized shadows to find the Stone Loach. As they’re not limited to any season, you can always find them without wasting your time. Additionally, you need to keep a keen eye on these fish since they can blend with the soil and rocky environment.
You can use your Fishing Pole near the edge and catch the fish. As it depends on RNG, there isn’t an exact floor where you can find the Stone Loach; it can be anywhere in the Upper Layers.
How To Use Stone Loach in Fields of Mistria
The primary use of the Stone Loach fish is to unlock the Water Seal. Breaking the seal will allow you to access the deeper areas in the Mines, from Floor 21 to Floor 40. However, if you have two of them, you can sell one at the General Store for 35 Tesserae and donate the other to Errol at the Museum.
