What Is the Group Fishing Event in Fish it
The Group Fishing Event takes place every 4 hours and lasts for 5 minutes. During this short window, players across the server fish together to increase the Group Secret Chance. The more fish everyone catches, the better the odds of someone pulling a Talon Serpent (red) or a Wild Serpent (purple).
What makes this event special is that Luck boosts don’t matter here, your drop rate remains the same no matter how much rod luck or potion bonuses you have. It’s all about teamwork and timing.

How To Access the Crystal Cavern
To join the event and start fishing for the Secret Serpents, you’ll need to:
- 10,000 Candy Corn
- Level 30+
Once you have both, head to Mount Hallow and use the teleporter at the top to enter the Crystal Cavern. Once inside, you will see glowing crystals and other players gathered around the fishing spot under the event banner; that’s where you will be fishing.
Tips To Catch Talon Serpent & Wild Serpent
- Try to join a public server that has a good population.
- The timer only lasts 5 minutes, so fish immediately when the event starts.
- Speed matters more than power for this event, try to use a good rod like Ghostfin Rod.
- If you miss one round, don’t worry, the event happens every 4 hours.
