Crown of Stone in Path of Exile 2 (PoE2) may give you a setback. Read this guide to ease your way through the quest.
Once you begin Act 2 in Path of Exile 2, you will eventually receive a trio of quests together. Players will have the opportunity to explore these three quests in any order they like. Regardless of the order you picked, the Crown of Stone will remain the same. However, if you are not confident in your character’s build and level, we suggest that you save this for the end.
This main quest will take you to the Titan Grotto to claim the Flame Ruby. You can even have a party and then visit the area to ensure that you don’t fail your attempt. But know that it’s completely okay to fail the mission the first time around because Act 2 can be a bit challenging at first.
Step-by-Step Guide to Crown of Stone
The first thing that you would want to do in this quest is head to the Valley of Titans. This is where you came for the Ancient Vows quest. There are three seals here that you need to activate, namely: Sundari, Rajendra, and Shakti.
As far as our gameplay was concerned, we found these on the different edges of the map after reaching the Valley. So, you can try repeating the same trick and see if it also works for you. After finding each seal, you must step on one to activate it. Once all three have been activated, you can set out to find Titan Grotto.
Open the desert map and get to the center of the area. It is also marked with what appears to be a Red Claw. After getting there, you will find a mountainous structure, and a cutscene will play out, revealing the entrance.
The area has thin passages that you are free to explore. When you reach the end of one of the checkpoints, there will be a blue stone island, marked with a circle in the center. Proceed and Zalmarth the Colossus shall face you.
He doesn’t have any minions, so try to keep all focus on the boss. This means avoiding AoE attacks for the most part, unless they deal great damage regardless of their lack of focus.
Defeat him and pick up the Flame Ruby that you came for. Head to Zarkab, and he will wrap up this quest for you.
