There are various different missions, which will help fuel the explorer inside you. These missions motivate the exploration aspect of the game, giving you teasers of just how rich the world of Forza Horizon 5 truly is. One of these missions involves deep diving into an old ruined temple during a wild chase behind a storm. Let us take a look at how to complete ‘Tulum Expedition’ in Forza Horizon 5.
Optional Objectives for Tulum Expedition in Forza Horizon 5
The mission begins with a scenic drive into the mouth of a thunderstorm. Rami accompanies you in his plane, which he courageously flies into the storm as well. Due to some miscalculations, his plane crash-lands near Tulum. This is when the optional objectives are presented to you to complete. It is important to keep the ‘Ramiro had landed’ objective last as it would trigger the end of the mission if done before.
Find A Location for the Horizon Radio Beacon
Accolades: 100
The first and most immediately achievable objective is the Horizon Radio Beacon. As part of this objective, you will be placing a radio beacon at the location, after which a cutscene will play. This objective is the southeast-most objective on the map. Once you install the beacon, you can proceed to find the remaining ones.
Photograph The Jade Statue
Accolades: 100
The second objective is the Task of clicking a photograph of the Jade statue. You will be able to find this statue to the northwest of the location. Drive to this area, and the Task will be highlighted on the map. Once near, open your camera and click a picture of the statue. You don’t need to be too precise and can capture it however you wish. As soon as you click the picture, the check for the objective appears.
Reach the Top of the Central Ruin
Accolades: 50
This objective is at the very center of the location. You will see a structure upon which you will need to ascend. This is made possible by the help of two ramps placed at both the north and south of the structure. Use these ramps and get to the top, and then this objective appears complete.
Photograph the Golden Statue
Accolades: 100
The golden statue on the map is right under the Horizon Radio Beacon location, by the corner tip of the white border. Drive your car towards the location and the mark for this objective will appear. Once nearby, you will see a gold statue before a small temple. Open your camera again and click a picture of it to complete the second-to-last objective.
Find Where Ramiro Has Landed
Accolades: 50
The last objective is to find where Ramiro’s plane has landed. This location can be found to the south of the location. You will be able to drive under a structure, and when you take a left, you will see an exit. Once you exit the structure and proceed a bit ahead, you will find the plane, and a cutscene will trigger.
