REPO: How To Counter Robe

The Robe’s aggressive and unpredictable movements are a pain to deal with. Here is how to counter the Robe in REPO.

The Robe in REPO is quite a menace. The unpredictable movement patterns, remembering the hiding spots of the player and looking, the ability to crouch and attack, and more make it one of the toughest enemies in the game.

Here is a short guide on how to counter the Robe in REPO.

Robe Stats and Behavior

REPO has a danger level system up to 3 that showcases how dangerous the entity is. The Robe is a danger level 3 enemy that has 250 hp and deals area and knockback damage. It is normally found after level 6 but can spawn in the beginning too.

The Robe is a line-of-sight-based entity that follows the player behind slowly and silently until it reaches melee range and attacks for 100 damage (while standing).

This damage also knocks you back, potentially dealing physics damage too. Once you are in the Robe’s line of sight, it will follow you slowly, so slowly that you can get away from it by just walking. However, things are different if you look at it.

The Robe rages once you point your crosshair towards it. Then, it starts chasing you with a higher movement speed than its base quite relentlessly. Being enraged unlocks the Robe’s crouching attack that can deal damage to players hiding under furniture and such.

The Robe also investigates locations that you hide in, like cabinets and tables, if you hide within its line of sight.

How To Deal with Robe in REPO?

Here are some ways to deal with Robe or avoid it:

• The Robe has very bad visibility, so before it spots you, run towards the opposite side, and it should despawn.

• Make sure that you do not look at the entity. If you do want to know where the Robe is, you can see it from the side of your screen.

• If the Robe is pursuing, you can hide below tables and beds. The entity will see this, crouch down, and attack underneath the furniture. You can then run during its crouch and attack animation if there are no other sides to escape from.

• You can lift the Robe if you have 13 Strength which can be obtained from the service station. The service station unlocks after you clear the first level of the game.

• Other items and weapons such as guns, grenades, and mines stun the Robe. You can then lift it and throw it inside any nearby pit.

The Robe is an enemy that is generally avoidable once you spot it. However, if it spots you first, these are the few ways to escape or eliminate the Robe in REPO.
