While crafting is not a main feature of this game, you will need to create Gems that will aid you in battle. These are special items that can give you special passive abilities, and you must create these Gems from other ingredients to use them.

Creating Gems itself is very easy, though the process does rely on a certain amount of luck. In this article, we will explain how you can create Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins. This is not a one-time process, and you will eventually have to create a lot of Gems to increase their level and gain better passives from them.

Steps to Create Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins

You cannot create a Gem just anywhere; you need to do it from the Inns. Here are the steps to create Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins:

• Head to the nearest town or settlement and interact with it.
• Select the Inn option, and then select the Create Gems option.
• On the next page, select the number of Gems that you want to create. You will need Pyroxene to create Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins.
• Select confirm and get the Gem.

There are five specific Gems that you can create from Pyroxene. Each Gem has a different passive that will give you different kinds of boosts. Unfortunately, you cannot decide which Gem to create; that is randomly decided during the creation phase. As such, you will only know what Gem you get after you have successfully created it.

Scorch Gem	Boosts damage dealt to enemies with parries by 10%, at Gem Level 1.
Wellspring Gem	Restores 30 health for every 100 enemies defeated, at Gem Level 1.
Ascendance Gem	Activates a 30% chance to automatically block an attack from an enemy officer, at Gem Level 1.

You can only equip one Gem at a time in Dynasty Warriors Origins. As such, you need to carefully decide which Gem to use in a specific battle. You should strategize during the War Council section and accordingly change your Gem in the Battle Preparation phase.

How to Upgrade Gems in Dynasty Warriors Origins

The only way to upgrade and level up your Gems is by creating more of them in Dynasty Warriors Origins. When you create duplicate Gems, they are used to refine the gem (in a manner of speaking). As you create more Gems, they are upgraded further, and their level increases. This also enhances their passive ability values, making them stronger in battle.
