Everything you need to know about the Hunter Profile in Monster Hunter Wilds, including how to access it, customization options, and more.

Monster Hunter Wilds, much like its predecessors offers plenty of options for self-expression. Whether it be the game’s robust build mechanics or the character customization system, there are several ways in which you can set your own Hunter apart from others. But what’s the point of “self-expression” if you can’t show that to other players online? This is precisely where the Hunter Profile comes in.
The Hunter Profile essentially replaced the Guild Card that we used to have in Monster Hunter World. In Monster Hunter Wilds, everything you do and unlock can be registered to your Hunter Profile to be showcased to other players online. The Hunter Profile is also linked with your Hunter’s Guild i.e., Squad.
However, accessing and customizing the Hunter profile can be a bit confusing to some players, especially newcomers. To help with that, here’s everything you need to know about the Hunter Profile in Monster Hunter Wilds.
How To Access the Hunter Profile in Monster Hunter Wilds

The Hunter Profile option can be found under the Info tab in the main menu. Do note that the option will only appear once you’ve loaded into the game — be it via a Private Lobby or Online Single Player Mode. This is also the tab where you’ll find the Monster Field Guide, Wishlist, and Manage Squads options. You can also access your Hunter Profile from Squads management screen. However, it’s best to simply access it via the main menu.
If you accessed your Hunter Profile recently, you can also find it under the Recents tab, which shows a list of options that you’ve opened during the last session. The Hunter Profile comes with plenty of customization options, including:
- Edit Nameplate
- Edit Top Page Widgets
- Change Pose
- Change Expression
- Change Camera
- Change Background
- Register Equipment
If you’ve played Monster Hunter World, you’ll find plenty of similarities between the Hunter Profile and the Gathering Hub. Furthermore, some of the features available in Monster Hunter World Icebrone’s personal quarters have made their way to the Hunter Profile. Much like how you could register your favorite build to be showcased in your personal quarters in Iceborne, Hunter Profile allows you to do the same. You can also edit your Top Page Widgets in your Hunter Profile to show your favorite monster, total playtime, medals earned, Squads, and more.
How To Customize Hunter Profile

The Hunter Profile can be customized at any time during gameplay, albeit outside of quests and Investigations. You can change and edit your custom nameplate which shows up at the end of a hunt during co-op sessions. Furthermore, you can also view your most-used builds in the Hunter Profile, and register them as primary. You can also edit the details that will be available to other players during a Link Party. You can also add a background theme to your Hunter Profile, granted you’ve already unlocked said theme in the game. Certain aspects of the Hunter Profile’s customization, like the nameplates, banners, etc., are unlocked after completing certain milestones.
These milestones include completing the Low Rank and High Rank quests, hunting a certain amount of Large Monsters, and more. You can also get more options to customize your Hunter Profile with the game’s planned post-launch cosmetic DLCs. Some of these DLCs come as part of Monster Hunter Wilds’ Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions.
