Learn which Pokemon you can use in order to defeat AI Professor Sada, the final boss of Pokemon Scarlet in your fight with her in Area Zero.

In Pokemon Scarlet, the main game doesn’t end after defeating the Elite Four and the Champion. Instead, after completing all the sub-plots, you have to fight an AI version of the Pokemon Professor Sada, who uses exclusively past Paradox Pokemon. This can make her very difficult to defeat. So in this guide, we will look at the best Pokemon to take her team down.
Guide To Defeat AI Professor Sada in Pokemon Scarlet Overview

Pokemon | Level | Ability | Moves |
---|---|---|---|

AI Sada has a team of past Paradox Pokemon, with her ace Roaring Moon having a Booster Energy that gives it a one-time boost to one of its stats. All of these Pokemon have high stats and can be difficult to take out without proper preparation. However, several of her Pokemon share common weaknesses. For instance, Sada’s Slither Wing, Brute Bonnet, and Roaring Moon are all weak to Fairy-type attacks. Similarly, her Scream Tail and Flutter Mane struggle against Ghost-type moves.

How To Use The Best Team To Defeat AI Professor Sada in Pokemon Scarlet
- Skeledirge: Skeledirge has a fantastic lead matchup against AI Sada’s team. It can use Torch Song to KO Slither Wing, and then hit Scream Tail and Brute Bonnet with a boosted Shadow Ball and Flamethrower, respectively.
- Hatterene: Hatterene has a bit of bulk, which lets it take any of Roaring Moon’s attacks, set up with Calm Mind, and OHKO it with Draining Kiss. It can also help with Flutter Mane, Brute Bonnet, and Scream Tail as well.
- Mimikyu: Mimikyu may have a type overlap but its main role is to use Disguise to take one attack from Flutter Mane and hit back with Shadow Claw. If that isn’t enough for a KO, use Shadow Sneak next turn to finish it off.
- Weavile: Fast Ice-type to deal with Brute Bonnet and Sandy Shocks.
- Lucario: Secondary attacker to help out with Flutter Mane, Scream Tail, and Roaring Moon. It will need healing as it takes super effective damage in return from their coverage moves.
- Toedscruel: This mon is here to check Sandy Shocks and maybe put something to sleep with Spore.
Best IVs and EVs To Train For This Team
You would want your Pokemon to have as close to 31 IVs in all stats if possible. As for EVs, Skeledirge, Hatterene, and Toedscruel benefit from investment in their bulk. Mimikyu wants Attack EVs as does Weavile. Lucario and Weavile need to invest in Speed.
Tips and Tricks To Defeat AI Professor Sada in Pokemon Scarlet

- Mimikyu can help out against other Pokemon like Roaring Moon if it survives the battle against Flutter Mane.
- The Koraidon battle after this is scripted and thus there’s nothing to prepare for.
- Hatterene has a Defense boosting Nature over a Special Attack boosted one just to increase its durability. It will have to take several attacks so having a bit of bulk helps it.
