Disarming bombs is one of Alex Murphy’s many skills in RoboCop Rogue City, and it is back for the Unfinished Business DLC.

Disarming bombs is a recurring minigame in RoboCop Rogue City. Teyon brought it back for the Unfinished Business expansion. It can be tricky and nerve-wracking, especially when you see the timer and hear the countdown beeps. The goal is to rewire specific circuits before everything is blown to pieces.
In this guide, we will be taking a quick look at how to quickly and safely disarm live bombs in the Unfinished Business expansion. It can be confusing at first; however, the process is intuitive and straightforward.

RoboCop Can Disarm Bombs in Style

In the base game, RoboCop gets to defuse bombs and doesn’t crack under pressure. This is brought back as a quick minigame, which can ruin the pacing if you have yet to master the technique. Fortunately, disarming bombs is much easier in the game than it is in real life, especially if you understand the mechanics.
To safely disarm any bomb in RoboCop Rogue City Unfinished Business, you must approach it and interact with it. It will zoom into the bomb, where you will see a series of wires and their voltage labels. There will be a total of 9 circuits on each bomb, and they are divided into three sections. These are some of the essential tips you need to keep in mind whenever you are defusing an explosive device in-game:
- Take note of the number of wires in the bomb.
- Arrange each wire from the highest to the lowest voltage.
- Cut the wires in order before time runs out.
It is worth noting that the circuit doesn’t directly match its voltage label on top. The wires will be tangled on purpose to confuse you into cutting the wrong wires. If you run out of time or cut the wrong wire by accident, it will immediately trigger the explosion and kill Alex on the spot, followed by a “Game Over” prompt.
