Learn all the easy ways to acquire Danqing, a unique currency that can be redeemed for various rewards in Marvel Rivals’ Spring Festival event.
Marvel Rivals started its new season with new characters, costumes, and game modes. NetEase Games launched one more game mode in Marvel Rivals celebrating the Lunar New Year. The festival also came with many Chinese-themed costume bundles and an event. Players can win free rewards by completing missions and redeeming the unique event-based currency, Danqing. This currency can only be earned by playing the game and completing specific missions.
In this article, we will go through the easy ways of collecting Danqing in the latest event of Marvel Rivals.
How To Earn Danqing in Marvel Rivals?
Marvel Rivals rewards its player base just for playing the game. Just like Midnight Features rewards players with a Thor skin, the Spring Festival gives a free Star-Lord skin. However, to redeem the rewards, players need to earn a special currency, “Danqing.” This currency can be earned by completing specific missions that can be located by clicking the Event Mission button on the event page. Players need to play the new game mode Clash of Dancing Lions to obtain Danqing. Here are some missions:
- Intercept the ball 3 times in a single Clash of Dancing Lions match.
- Complete 3 Clash of Dancing Lions match(es).
There will be more missions coming in the future. Additionally, some weekly missions give Danqing as a completion reward:
- Heal 12000 Health as Jeff the Land Shark, Cloak & Dagger, Adam Warlock, or Rocket Raccoon.
- Deal 15000 Damage as Hela, Namor, The Punisher, or Doctor Strange.
- Secure 25 Assists as Luna Snow, Jeff the Land Shark, Mantis, or Cloak & Dagger.
How To Use Danqing in Marvel Rivals?
There are many types of currencies in Marvel Rivals: Chrono Tokens for battle pass content, Units for buying in-game store content, and Lattice for buying battle passes and Units. However, there are some currencies that are exclusive to specific events. Danqing is the exclusive currency of the Spring Festival event. Players complete missions and redeem the obtained currency for event rewards. These are the rewards players can get by earning Danqing:
- Nameplate: Drum and Roar, Lion’s Mane
- Spray: Snake’s luck, Lion’s Mane
- Currency: Chrono Token
- Costume: Star Lord Lion’s Mane
- Gallery card: Of festivals and friends
