With the new Storm Chasers update in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, the developers have brought an exciting new adventure filled with challenges and rewards for players to explore. As players slowly make their way through the Storm Chasers Journal, they will face the challenging Storm King. However, before doing so, it is important that you acquire valuable items and gear. An essential part of this journey includes entering Storm Caves, also known as Storm Dungeons.
These unique locations are crucial to completing Weekly Quests and upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp. In this article, we will break down how you can locate and enter the mysterious Storm Caves in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey.
How To Find and Enter Storm Caves in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey
Storm Caves are unique points of interest found exclusively in the Storm biome. These caves are crucial for completing Weekly Quests and upgrading the Storm Chaser Base Camp to level 7. They are filled with valuable resources, powerful items, and challenging enemies, making them an essential part of your adventure.
How To Locate Storm Caves
To enter a Storm Cave, you first need to locate the Storm biome. These biomes can be easily identified by the large purple storm swirling around them. To make this task easier:
- Upgrade the Storm Chaser Base Camp to Level 6: Upon reaching this upgrade, you’ll receive an upgraded compass from Dr. Borrasca. This compass reveals the locations of all Storm biomes on your map and compass.
- Spotting the Storm Biome: You can also identify Storm biomes from a distance by their distinctive purple storm clouds.
How To Enter Storm Caves
Once you’ve located the Storm biome, head to the mountain at its center where a Rift awaits you. You can then enter the Rift to access the Storm Cave. Inside the Storm Cave, you will encounter various challenges and rewards:
- Unlocking the Second Rift: Upon entering, you will find a second Rift that requires unlocking. You need to destroy three Storm Crystals located on the first layers of the cave to open this Rift. Doing so grants access to a Chest containing valuable rewards like Eyes of the Storm and Rift Crystals.
- Surviving Enemy Waves: After descending through the newly unlocked Rift, you must survive waves of Storm Acolytes and other enemies. These enemies frequently drop Greater Storm Cores and occasionally Rift Crystals. These can be used to acquire Legendary Items. Eyes of the Storm can also be obtained here, which is a crucial resource for powering up the Tempest Gateway.
- Continuing the Journey: Once you’ve cleared this section, another Chest will spawn. This Chest will drop a Storm Rune. Along with this Chest, yet another Rift will appear. You need to enter this Rift to repeat the process of unlocking it by destroying additional Storm Crystals and facing more waves of enemies. This time, the difficulty level will be higher, but so will the rewards. This makes it an ideal area for farming valuable resources.
