Evolving Friezo in Anime Vanguards: What You Need To Know

Evolving Lord Friezo in Anime Vanguards can seem tricky at first. However, there are simply two major requirements that you’ll need to meet. Like every other unit, evolving Lord Friezo, will change him into Lord Friezo (Emperor), with brand new abilities and traits. One of the requirements is getting your hands on a special item, dubbed the Space Pod. Besides that, you’ll also need to complete a certain number of Takedowns with the base Lord Friezo. The following guide elaborates on the exact process, and helps you complete this evolution without too facing many obstacles.

Acquiring the Space Pod

The first order of business is getting your hands on the Space Pod. You can get it by completing the Dragon Ball Challenge Dungeon. This one is also referred to as the Frieza/Broly Event. Follow the steps below to get the evolution item.

Step 1: Reach the Dungeons or Challenges section of the Anime Vanguards.
Step 2: Begin the Dragon Ball Challenge.
Step 3: During this challenge, and around every 3 waves, Frieza-like enemy units will spawn on the battlefield. Your goal is to defeat these specific units seven times while the challenge is underway. Defeating each of the Frieza enemies rewards you with a Dragon Ball.

Collecting seven of these Dragon Balls will end the match and you’ll receive the Space Pod necessary.

Meeting the Takedown Requirement

Now, if you have the Space Pod, also ensure that your base Lord Friezo unit has at least 5000 Takedowns. If it doesn’t have that many enemy kills just yet, make sure you play a few more matches. Place your Lord Friezo in those matches to ensure the unit can get in as many Takedowns as possible to reach the required number.

Accumulate Enough Gold

Evolutions aren’t free. To evolve Lord Friezo in Anime Vanguards, you’ll need to spend 15000 Gold. So, even if you meet the first two requirements, but you don’t have the Gold yet, you won’t be able to go through with the evolution. And, while you’re at it, make sure you also gather Green, Yellow, Purple, Red, and Rainbow Essence Stones.

Once you have access to all of these, you can begin the evolution. Simply head to the Evolution menu in the game, and choose your base Lord Friezo unit. The game will prompt you to confirm the evolution if all the necessary requirements are met and items are present. Once you go through with it, your Lord Friezo will become Lord Friezo (Emperor).
