Struggling to get Gems in Universal Piece? Use these fast methods like boss quests, raids, and fishing to stack them up quickly.

Gems power everything that matters in Universal Piece, from late-game weapons to flashy styles and fruit pulls, so you need a nonstop supply. This guide strips away the fluff and shows you exactly where the shiny stuff drops fastest. First, hop between boss quests to rack up quick chests and gem showers while gaining EXP on the side.
Next, dive into Cold Island raids once you have a key and tanky stats, turning every wave into a gem payout. Combine these methods, and your gem counter climbs before you know it.
Ways To Farm Gems in Universal Piece
Gems in Universal Piece are not optional; they are essential. You need them to unlock high-tier weapons, styles, powers, use the Fruit Gacha, and buy from various vendors. If you are entering mid-to-late game, expect costs to skyrocket. So, the faster you learn to farm Gems, the smoother your progress will be. Here are the three most effective methods: Boss Quests, Raids, and AFK Fishing. Use them depending on how actively you want to play.

Boss Quest Farming
If you want fast Gems while also leveling up, Boss Quests are your best bet. This method does not require a key or special conditions. All you have to do is:
- Travel to a lower-level island you can clear quickly, or a level-appropriate one if you also want EXP.
- Accept the mini-boss or main island boss quests from the NPCs.
- Kill the bosses. Every completed quest has a chance to drop Gems.
- Defeating island bosses drops chests, and these chests also have a chance to contain Gems.
The faster you kill, the faster you farm. Cold Island (unlocked after Zombie Island) is a solid choice here. Focus on:
- Gasy Quest
- Snow Quest
- Blizzard Queen Quest
These quests also drop Keys required for Raid farming, which makes this doubly efficient.
Raid Farming
Once you have built up your stats, Raids become a more efficient option. Every enemy you defeat in a Raid has a chance to drop Gems, and there are ten waves per Raid. You can access Raids from Cold Island, but there is a catch: you need a Raid Key to start one.
Here’s how to get into Raids:
- Defeat Gasy and Blizzard Queen bosses on Cold Island. They drop the keys.
- Use your key to start a Raid by interacting with the zone in front of the Raid building.
- If you do not have a key, you can still join a friend’s Raid or a public Raid (watch for global notifications when someone starts one).
Before you jump in, make sure you have enough durability. Aim for:
- 8000 to 10,000 Defense
- One fully leveled damage stat
Going in with weak stats means you will get wiped early, and that ruins the grind.
Fishing

If you are stepping away from your keyboard but still want to rack up Gems, Fishing is the way to go. This method does not give you large amounts quickly, but it works in the background, so it is perfect for passive farming.
Follow these steps for fishing:
- Go to Starter Island.
- Exit the Mansion and head to the Docks.
- Buy a Fishing Rod from the NPC on the left.
- Stand in a vacant Fishing spot and interact to begin.
Each fishing tick (about every 10 to 15 seconds) has a chance to reward you with Gems. Make sure the spot is not occupied; otherwise, you will not be able to fish.
Bonus: Use Codes When Available
Do not skip this step. Redeeming Universal Piece codes gives you free Gems and other useful items. Always check for new codes before starting your grind.
